Adam Paddock Concert Review: NYC - Mercury Lounge (Setlist Media)
“The room was filled with lots of fun and dancing, and from the start Adam made sure that the crowd’s participation was strong. As an introduction, he states, “I am Adam Paddock, we are Adam Paddock, and by the end of this, you all will be Adam Paddock, too!” The band’s chemistry was fantastic and only added to the set, which was filled with good storytelling and tidbits about specific songs… Adam’s vocals were strong throughout, and he added covers of “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon and “Yellow” by Coldplay to the setlist, both of which suited his voice so well! Despite some technical issues mid-show, the crowd’s energy never faltered, which is a testimony to Adam’s ability to keep everyone engaged and the professionalism of the band to get the show back on track. When it came time for the title track of the album and tour, “Sweet Ohio Light”, the room exploded with happiness, and the pride of the band’s friends who made it out to the show was an almost tangible form. The set closed with a gorgeous ballad called “Milky Way”. The Sweet Ohio Light tour is the band’s first (and independently booked at that), but you could never tell.”

SOL: PART 1 Receives A 5/5 from Voltage Live Media
“Adam Paddock pulls you in deep with his newly released 5 track album, Sweet Ohio Light: Part 1. If you reside in the Buckeye State, you’ll truly resonate with his mixture of motivating, captivating, and devastating lyrics. I took the pleasure of enjoying this album while walking alongside the beach in Miami Beach and yet I could very vividly see myself driving down a windy dirt road back in Ohio. His love for Ohio is eloquently stated throughout this album, besides it being present in the album title. Adam merges his deep voice with powerfully played instruments in every single track.”

Adam Paddock Talks Support for Upcoming Kings Kaleidoscope Tour & New Music with Melodic Mag
“Paddock is capable of diving into a plethora of genres such as pop, rock, and classical, as well as his mastery of arrangement… In just two weeks, he will hit the road again as the opener for Kings Kaleidoscope, a dream come true for the up-and-comer… [LOVER IS] straight out of the mid-2000s pop-band playbook of Keane, OneRepublic, and Owl City mixed with contemporary theatre sounds from shows like If/Then and Dear Evan Hansen… ‘MAKE IT TODAY,’ conceptually inspired by Clinton Kane’s ‘DANCING ALL ALONE,’ is an immediate standout among Paddock’s discography… ‘Weekend’ mixes Paddock’s versatile pop/jazzy tone, Caleny’s softer Clairo-like tone, and BOUT SEVEN’s natural hip-hop leaning flow… Paddock and his band will be joining Kings Kaleidoscope for eleven dates in August and October, including stops at the House of Blues in Chicago and The Gramercy Theatre in NYC.”
Tuned Up Getz Tuned In to LOVER
“I’ve seen few artists rise to prominence in Ohio as quickly as soulful pop artist Adam Paddock has in the last year or so. I’m still kind of baffled by it, to be honest. “Lover” is the latest outing from the crooner, who currently splits his time between Columbus and Nashville. The deep, soulful vocals on top an upbeat, high energy bed of pop instrumentation is ultimately appealing to a wide demographic of people.”
